i had a death in the family and was extremely stressed about 3 months ago just this last week or so i have been shedding hair like crazy. i know its stress related and my whole family and i have very thick hair but i just want to know how long to expect it to last and if there is anything i can do to limit, and promote new hai growth quicker.

im less stressed now, and trying to just be calm and relaxed as i know as long as the stress persisits so will my hair.

anyone experienced this? how long did it last for you? and how much percent of hair do you think you lost?

It happened to me, and my hair fell out for almost a year. I lost about 50% of my hair. It got very thin, but i don't think anyone else really noticed but me. The good news is that it will all grow back when it stablizes itself. It's very hard not to be stressed out when you lose hair, so try to think as positve as you can. Good Luck and Hugs :-)

Hey there,

Millions of people all over the world are affected by hair loss, and it's not only the males that suffer this condition as even females are affected by this problem. What's sad is that many of the individuals affected by such a condition end up just accepting what is happening to their hair due to lack of information or options.

There are many methods to make our hair grow faster, shine , glitter in natural ways without using chemicals. Learn here https://bitly.im/aM0zS Men, and sometimes women, notice that their hair is thinning prematurely for several different reasons. Age, menopause, pregnancy, genetics, illness, and other factors all play a role in hair loss. Sure, you can use drugs or you can go in for a hair transplant or fusion, but sometimes the easiest, most inexpensive solution, is to try to stop hair loss naturally.

I had hair loss off and on for three years then I found out that I had a Thyroid problem called Hashimoto´s. Fortunately I have very thick hair and even though my brush was always full of hair after brushing no one but me seemed to notice.Perhaps you need to rule out physical causes before saying it is only stress related...

if stress is causing your hair to fall out,

search the internet and read up on "telogen effluvium".

There is a cream that the doctor can prescribe, but my experience with this, it took sometime to see hair grow back in.
